SMBX: Link's supposed capabilities
I finally got them back! I found all of Link's custom sprites I made 6 and half years ago, in late 2010. Those were intended to be given to the creator of Super Mario Bros. X during his development for version 1.3, but I got turned down. Link was supposed to be able to slide, to climb, to carry stuff, to swim and ride Yoshis, respectfully. I also made more sprites for suggested ideas. I wanted Link to be able to push blocks like in most of the Zelda games and do a Spin Attack in-game.

I also made more sprites for other players years ago (Mario, Luigi, Toad and Princess Peach), before I lost all of my previous files from my computer in early 2014. That time I spent most of my time recollecting stuff I had submitted in the internet and starting things over. Also, extracting sprite frames from .gif images are actually pretty easy though. ;p

A sprite sheet of Link will be released very soon.

I bought Breath of the Wild on March 3, early morning before it was crowded. I played the game nonstop and OH MY GOD, that was awesome! :D

I never played a Zelda game of that level of awesomeness before. It a lot was harder than Zelda II: The Adventures of Link (the hardest that I ever played) but very entertaining! The game was much more about improvising than the other Zelda games. I finished the game today (still got side-quests remaining)! The final boss was tough though. The whole game was really, really tough, until you got the hang of it and/or got stronger. ^^;

Damn... Link dressed up like a Gerudo. Oh mah gawd! I admit, I got excited and I laughed so hard! :rofl: It was a really clever idea though! I'm glad the Zelda developers got realistic quite a bit. With all that hard time sneaking through Gerudo habitats and getting caught issues. "You know what? That does it. Let's dress up like a Gerudo and sneak through." I had the same idea right before it became a thing. It could have happened in Majora's Mask if there were a Gerudo Mask containing the soul of a Gerudo. But that wouldn't be dressing like a female. Link would actually become a female. Kind of weird to admit but... I enjoyed dressing up like a girl. Does that make me... weird? :blushes:

Oh! Ever noticed that Link always end up having a female Zora ally who falls for him? :greetings: I ship Link and Mipha. Link X Mipha all the way. And I was thinking, considering that characters of different species fall for Hylians, like Princess Ruto and Mipha for Link, and that Gerudos mates with Hylians given the evidence of Zelda species interbreeding, would that include for Gorons, River Zoras and Kokiris as well? Hmm... Maybe we already know the answer to that. :p

Anyway, I hope all of y'all are having a great time as well playing Breath of the Wild. Oh and good luck. It's really fun but really tough. ;p

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is an upcoming The Legend of Zelda game for the Wii U and Nintendo Switch set to be released worldwide in March 3, 2017.

I've seen the trailers of Breath of the Wild so many times and I am really hyped for it! I'm so getting it the day it comes out (I should wake up very early to buy it before it's sold out). I always waited for a Zelda game with open-world Hyrule, playing it wherever I want, whenever I want... on the Switch. ;p This might turn out to be the very best Zelda game ever! :D Sorry Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, The Wind Waker... you guys are still the love of my Zelda gamelife. ^^;

Breath of the Wild takes place after the events of Ocarina of Time, we knew it about it without Eiji Aonuma confirming it. But we don't know in which timeline branch. Also, I heard that the game occurs in a timeline in which Ganon appears numerous times... So... Downfall Timeline? Maybe? ^^; Strange, there were evidence that it could take place in the Child Timeline and the Adult Timeline. Welp, let's see how things are gonna turn out. :)

Super Mario Bros. X - The Great Seven Kings
These are the seven Kings who governs and protect the seven realms of the Mushroom World. They first appear in Super Mario Bros. 3.

All seven kings united will appear at some point in the Super Mario Bros. X series, whilst only the King of Sea Side appeared most often. Each year, all seven kings have one annual meeting. The kings respect each other as individuals, as promising rulers and as powerful kings.

Years, in the Super Mario Bros. X backstories, the Sea Side King and the Grass Land King had been in a few conflicts, battling each other. However, the Sea Side King was always defeated. Eventually, they made peace before the events of Super Mario Bros. 3.

The Kings (from left to right):
Grass Land King (unnamed) - He is the king of World 1: Grass Land. In Super Mario Bros. 3, his kingdom was taken over by Larry Koopa, until Mario and Luigi saved the king and his kingdom from the youngest Koopaling. In the Super Mario Bros. X series, he is stated to be one of the strongest kings, as he was able to defeat King Varun Mackerel single-handedly many times in the past. The Grass Land King is stated to treasure all sorts of life, such as the fauna and especially the flora. He is able to use Water, Earth and Light Elemental magic. He can combine Water and Earth altogether and create Wood Element.

Desert Hill King (The Sultan) - He is the king of World 2: Desert Hill. In Super Mario Bros. 3, the kingdom was overtaken by Morton Koopa Jr., until the Mario Bros. defeated the Koopaling and saved the king with his kingdom. In the Super Mario Bros. X series, the Sultan is a powerful king, capable of performing Fire, Wind, Earth and Light-based attacks. He can control the sand at will, thanks to his Earth and Wind nature. With Light and Fire combined, he can create the Solar Element. His full power is said to be powerful enough to bring forth ruin to his whole realm, if he feels like destroying his kingdom.

Sea Side King (King "Varun" Mackerel) - He is the King of World 3: Sea Side. In Super Mario Bros. 3, the kingdom was overtaken by Wendy O. Koopa, whom he dubs as the "Koopa Princess", until the Mario Bros. defeated the Koopaling and saved the king with his kingdom. The king himself admires Mario, whom he remarkably resembles. In the Super Mario Bros. X series, King Mackerel is one of the strongest of the kings, also stated to be the most feared king when he is righteous and angry. He is capable of use Water and Lightning Elements. His natural-born elements are Fire and Dark.

Giant Land King (King Hugo) - He is the King of World 4: Big Island. In Super Mario Bros. 3, the kingdom was attacked and taken by Iggy Koopa, until the heroes, Mario and Luigi defeated the Koopaling and restored the king back to his former state. In the Super Mario Bros. X series, King Hugo himself is a powerful king, but nearly on par with the Desert Hill King. He uses Earth-based attacks, but rarely uses Wind and Fire and is capable of Dark Element as well. With Earth and Wind combined, he creates Magnet Element, and uses it more simultaneously than the Desert Hill King. However, with three elements combined altogether; with Earth, Wind and Dark, he creates the Gravity Element. With Earth, Wind and Fire, he creates the Dust Element.

Sky World King (Emperor Ed) - He is the King of World 5: Sky Land. In Super Mario Bros. 3, the kingdom was attacked and taken by Roy Koopa, until the Mario Bros. defeated the Koopaling and freed the realm from his tyranny. In the Super Mario Bros. X series, Emperor Ed is stated "without a doubt" to be the most powerful king. He uses Light Elemental magic mostly, but has mastered all five basic elements; Earth, Fire, Water, Wind and Lightning. He is sometimes called the "Godly King".

Iced Land King (King Windbag) - He is the King of World 6: Iced Land. In Super Mario Bros. 3, the kingdom was taken over by Lemmy Koopa, until the Mario Bros. defeated the Koopaling and restored the realm from his tyranny. In the Super Mario Bros. X series, whilst he is often humaliatingly remarked as the king who felled at the hands of a turtle-like circus clown, the king himself is a powerful ruler. He can perform Water and Wind spells, but combine them together to create the Ice Element. His power level is stated to be too high enough to freeze his entire land.

The Pipe Maze King (unnamed) - He is the King of World 7: Pipe Maze. In Super Mario Bros. 3, the kingdom was taken over by the most powerful Koopaling Ludwig von Koopa, until the Mario Bros. defeated the Koopaling, saving the kingdom and restored the king back to his human form. In the Super Mario Bros. X series, he is the second-strongest king. Like the Sky World King, he is capable of using all five-basic elements; Earth, Fire, Water, Wind and Lightning. He can combined only a few elements. Although, the Pipe Maze King is Dark-type and Illusionary-type.

Trivia:
Some Kings are named after the kings from The Adventure of Super Mario Bros. 3.

The Kings in the Super Mario Bros. X series are portrayed as Kage-type characters whilst the Elements are heavily based on the Nature Releases from the Naruto series.

Super Mario Bros. X - The King's Wrath
This is the King of Sea Side from Super Mario Bros. 3, in his full-powered Star Dragoon state. He is on top of a Cheep-Chomp's head. This image also depicts King Varun Mackerel's twisted nature.

The King of Sea Side is one of the Seven Kings who governs the seven kingdoms and protect the realms of Mushroom World. He is the youngest of the kings by appearance. He is also one of the strongest of the kings.

Hi, I've got a dumb question, but do you have a SMB3 palette? The "Blocks and NPC" one in the SMBX graphics pack misses many colors like the dry bones color, nipper plant color, etc.
