Super Mario Bros. X - Baby Varun and Baby Marvin

This is King Varun and Marvin as infants. Long ago, they were born from the same father but different mothers of opposite sides (one from Sea Side Kingdom and the other from Eleanor Kingdom), making them half-brothers. They were born on the same day when the shooting stars and the moon share the same moonlit sky. Mackerel (the Sea Side King's birth name) was born on Sea Side and Marvin was born on Eleanora.

After the loss of their parents due to a war between opposite sides, the Solar Clan and the Lunar Clan, they were both left orphans. Mackerel was left in the care of the King of Sea Side, whilst Marvin was in the care of the King of Eleanora, the father of his childhood friend Princess Apple. Sometime later, the Eleanor King would later meet with the Sea Side King. That was the first time Marvin met his brother on Sea Side. Each month, there would be meetings between the two kings, and Marvin and Mackerel would meet more often. Eventually, years later, after the death of the Eleanor King, Marvin would later go to Sea Side on his own to be with Mackerel for quite an amount of years, until Marvin's forced departure to Eleanor Kingdom, thus leaving his brother alone.

Spoilers:
Mackerel and Marvin did not have to think hard or say so; they knew they were brothers because they felt it but never knew how considering each half-brother were only child to both opposite families. Mackerel later knew the truth behind the death of his parents, as it was due to the secret of his father and his mother-in-law (Marvin's mother). He also found out that his mother and Marvin's mother were descendants of the Star Dragoons, the Star Goddess's Nephilims who both got into a conflict when they also found out the truth. And Mackerel's father who was also Marvin's father was the latest legacy of the Lunar Brother, Iguli. And he also found out that Marvin, the King of Sea Side and the people of the kingdom also knew the truth before Mackerel did. The people has been shunning Mackerel since he was a child the whole time. When Mackerel learned the truth, he became resentful, planning to take out his anger on his brother Marvin and the people of Sea Side.

Trivia
The story is unfinished but will be finished when it is due, as I also want to reveal the day Mackerel became King of Sea Side and adopted the nickname "Varun" (meaning "lord of the sea"). He became king, years after Marvin left Sea Side and returned to his homeland. All these events explained here occurs several years before the events of Super Mario Bros. 3. Also, Varun and Marvin are also older than Mario and Luigi, already reached adulthood (18 years old) at the time Mario and Luigi were kids. The reason why I stated that Mackerel is Varun's real name is due to King Mackerel from The Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3.
