Super Mario Bros. X: Star Dragoons

Long ago, there existed human beings who have wings and possess unique elemental abilities which are extremely powerful. They called "Dragoons of Star". The term "Dragoon" was meant to signify "serpents". They are considered to be distantly related to the Angels of Mushroom World, some of them call them their brothers and sisters. For countless ages, the Star Dragoons were guardians of the magical Lux Stars. Wars waged on Mushroom World to reclaim Lux Star Pieces, many of Star Dragoons had died in the war, then the Angels intervened by taking the Lux Stars back to the heavens, thus ending the war.

The latest descendants of the Star Dragoons are the Sea Side King (Mario's counterpart with the red wings), Marvin (Luigi's counterpart with the pacific green wings), Ravun (Wario's counterpart with the yellow wings) and Master Doshi (Yoshi's counterpart with the purple-blue wings), who inherited their powers, as well as their spirits (reinarnations). The three heroes know about their true origin, except for Ravun though he seems to embrace his hidden powers.

King Varun's ancestor was the Dragoon of Fire, Hydra. But he's also capable of using water abilities as he's from a water-themed kingdom. With the strong combination of Water and Fire, he will be capable of creating Boil Release techniques.

Marvin's ancestor was the Dragoon of Wind, Zephyrus. He's very skill with Wind and he's capable of creating Lightning.

Master Doshi's ancester had no element of his own, though he's the Dragoon of Speed, Somnus. Like he's ancestor, he rests and sleeps a lot. Behind that laziness of his, he's extremely fast. He's able to cause earthquake with his stomps (like a Yellow Yoshi), create fire with his shoes by drifting (Power Sliding) and run on the water's surface.

Ravun's ancestor was the Dragoon of Earth, Terra. His ancestor has great control of the Earth and is also able to control Gravity. He's also able to control sand, iron, stones, etc. Terra's descendant has not fully mastered his earth abilities.

Marvin, Doshi and Ravun are set to appear in Super Mario Bros. X: Alternate Kingdom, and Varun is to appear in Super Mario Bros. X: Sea Side Adventure.

Trivia: A few other species were among them, only the humanoid ones. Doshi is descended from the Yoshi who was among the previous Star Dragoons.
