Toon Link and Toon Link...?

It's true that the Toon Link we know is often known as the famous Hero of Winds from The Wind Waker. But what about the Hero chosen by the Four Sword?

The Four Sword's wielder sure existed before the Hero of Winds since Minish Cap, hundreds of years after Skyward Sword. Despite the looks and all, I feel some differences between them. There would be a chance to be the same if Toon Link from Four Swords would reappear in the Adult Timeline instead of the Child Timeline, but that wouldn't be possible due to the fact that Ocarina of Time occurs many years after Four Swords.

The latest Toon Link incarnation of the Four Swords sub-series is currently venturing through the Child Timeline since Four Swords Adventures after Twilight Princess, while The Wind Waker/Phantom Hourglass's Toon Link (the Hero of Time "reborn") and those who comes after the hero must keep watching over the kingdom of Hyrule in the Adult Timeline. What's different from the reincarnation is that Toon Link from Four Swords Adventures is one of the Hero of Time's descendant, while the Toon Link from The Wind Waker isn't a descendant which might be why they say he doesn't have connection to the Hero of Time but spiritually. Because of that, I'm pretty sure they are seperate characters even though they are similar.
